The objects in this sale come from Rybar and Daigre's Parisian residence, a rue du Bac townhouse famous for their mirrored sitting room. Among the most spectacular pieces - a pair of giltwood military trophies that belonged to British novelist Somerset Maugham; a sumptuous pair of armchairs commissioned by Louise Elisabeth of France for the Colorno Palace in Parma; a 17th-century Italian pietra dura cabinet; and many 1970's creations. The pair are well known for designing Alexis de Rede's Bal Oriental at the Hotel Lambert. Scarce.
