First edition. Octavo. 94 pp; profuse color photographs by Steven Brooke. Paperback. Near Fine, a clean, unmarked copy. Vizcaya, the lavish estate on Miami's Biscayne Bay built by wealthy industrialist James Deering in the 1910's, featured a 70-room Italian baroque mansion, magnificent Italian Renaissance gardens, lagoons, canals, citrus groves, a farm village, and a yacht harbor. Originally 180 acres, the mansion and gardens today occupy 50 acres, and are open to the public.
